The Lagotto Romagnolo Club of America Judges’ Mentor Program supports aspiring and approved judges by providing expert guidance on the breed standard, structure, movement, and unique characteristics of this ancient Italian truffle-hunting dog. Our experienced judges’ mentors—dedicated long-time breeders and exhibitors—are available to prospective and current judges for in-depth discussions, hands-on examinations, and ringside mentoring at shows. This one-on-one mentorship ensures accurate and consistent evaluation of the Lagotto Romagnolo in the conformation ring, preserving the breed’s working heritage and functional excellence.
